When I open my closet door, explosions of colour greet me like a flower garden filled with butterflies. Rolls of red and pink rest elegantly among patches of green as if they were roses nestled among the branches of straight-pin thorns. Layers of yellow and black bees nuzzle the soft petals in slumber. I reach out and retrieve a roll of the night sky. The light from above me catches the folds and waves, giving the galaxy depth and clouds of ice particles. Bits of yellow have rubbed on, speckling the Milky Way with stars. I will have to remove these tiny suns in the final stages of creation, but for now I have the universe draped over my arm
